When MQM separated itself from the Government of PPP, from that day KARACHI has continuously been targeted. PPP immediately took the step to dissolve the local government ordinance so as to black mail the MQM. But when they noticed that MQM refused to come back again in the Government, they started target killing and tried to create chaos in between Muhajirs and Pakhtoons.
Mr. President made a mistake that he admitted this in front of an ANP leader, but in Sindhi Language. Ch Shujaat was also present at that time. The news was broken out and PPP again got in trouble by blame game. The sent Ch Shujaat to cool down the MQM and Shujaat was succeeded to some extent but still MQM didn't accept the proposal to come back again in Government. Meanwhile they requested to allot the opposition seats in Assemblies.
PML-N welcomed MQM with open hands and that was again a big step totally against the PPP. In the result of which MQM prisoners were shifted from Karachi jails to interior so that their relatives couldn't be able to meet them. MQM has borne many troubles in the era of operation so this was also neglected. But the target killing was started by invisible hands in karachi. Till now hundreds of people have been killed for no reason. 75% of people who were targeted were MQM workers.
Zulfiqar mirza came angrily and gave the statement against Muhajirs and that day a huge protest was recorded but the chaos couldn't be stopped. Rangers and Police were the viewers of any thrilling movie and they didn't take any notice. After Qasba and baldia the war has been started in the areas of Landhi and Malir to let the MQM workers out of that area. Still the people are killing but nobody stands to own the reason.
Chief Justice of Pakistan has no time to consider the biggest city of pakistan as MQM didn't support him against Musharraf. The point of view of MQM was right at that time too that Ch Iftikhar himself was a PCO judge. When MQM left alone they have no reason to be out. Finally Governor Sindh came back to his post.
Now it is a good step that Local Government Ordinance is back in favor of Karachi and Hyderabad. The political chess is still continues and people wouldn't have any doubt that the strategy of PPP worked in taking MQM 70% back in the government.
